Voter Bill of Rights

Every American citizen should have a guaranteed right to vote. Since the country's founding, denying the right to vote to people has been threaded in our history as a way to keep power for the wealthy. First, blacks and women were denied the right to vote. Native Americans weren't even considered.

In recent decades, the GOP has become dedicated to denying the right to vote to populations likely to vote against them. And, it's been an extremely effective tactic, handing them repeated Presidential elections and congressional gubernatorial elections across the country.

Help us identify and discuss commonsense principles that every American citizen should expect in expressing their voice in every election.
